It's not pay to win. I hit Platinum 2 in SRL without purchasing anything. You want an advantage? Use the gear provided for free through SRL.

Last years event wasn't a cash grab. All we got was a sparrow that had a gross color scheme. Not a flaming sparrow or racing helm. Let's be realistic here

5 RepliesI don't get what the big deal people are making out of this is for. If you've done the red bull sparrow quest you already have the fastest one in the game unless they bumped up the speed on these new ones.

6 RepliesYou see, my friends, the joke is that there won't be a difference besides how your sparrows look. As far as I know, most people have the Iron Gjallarwing, which is identical stat-wise to the SRL sparrows. And even if you don't have one, last year's gave you one for free at the beginning and another for completing the Quest, so Eververse really doesn't matter if you don't care about how you look. Point is, FotL was a cash-grab last year, and SRL wasn't a cash-grab last year. So chill. Have fun. Spend money if you want, don't if you don't want to. You won't be hurt either way.

I got all the sparrows from SRL last year. I have full momentum gear on my hunter. I'm hype to use them this season. Hopefully they made a void sparrow that looks official. The arc n solar are beautiful. Might use my new monarchy or iron banner sparrows as well. I don't have that red bull 1, does it have the red bull logo on it?

I remember seeing a book that cost about $10 to get different looking sparrows and gear at 3 LL, but not any gear that directly affects gameplay. EDIT: And by 'directly affecting gameplay', I mean 'gives you seriously big advantage over EVERYONE else who didn't pay'.
