With 399 light -- heck, well before that -- in the post-RoI release, green engrams drop like mad for me and others. This needs adjusted yesterday.
The greens started dropping right before RoI was released. From what I logically gather with nothing to factually back this up, its purpose was cheap weapon and armor parts when disbanded because we all knew those parts would be used a lot with the expansion and raising of light levels. Maybe I'm wrong, but fine, whatever.
RoI has been out for over two months now. Many people are past the point of needing the greens. Not only does the gunsmith sell parts as needed, and you get parts dismantling decrypted blues and purples (and sometimes yellows) but the greens clog your inventory.
I think if you are a certain light level, they need to stop, like the old days. Or if they must continue, find a way to give us an in-game option to not pick them up. Or they become instant weapon/armor parts. Or glimmer equal to what they would be when destroyed. I don't know. Something has to change so I don't constantly have to visit my inventory and delete them. (Even when I go out of my way to avoid them, some still sneak in.)
There has to be a fix. Please Bungie, fix this. Stop the madness.

Leave them the way they are. It's free glimmer and materials

I still don't understand why in TTK (at least until the very end in the couple of weeks leading up to the release of RoI) I never saw a green drop unless something was wrong, and now they're everywhere, like the green crust on a kindergartner's nose in the winter time.
