So let's make this clear... this has been said before and probably will be said again and is well known. But if you are a year 1 player and has spent over $100 for this game plus all dlcs, then opened your cheecks wide and let bungie step right up and fill that hole. Not your fault but let's be honest you could have stopped it.
I was lucky enough to only buy everything up to The Taken King before I had to switch consoles and just got the collection. But I still got suckered.
So before Destiny 2 comes out, let's just all take a minute to think about what will happen if they roll out paid/overpriced dlc again. Will you just go with it and throw money at the screen? Or will you wait until the sell everything together for only $60 like they did this time around?
Let's look at pros and cons.
Buying it as it comes:
pros- you get to do all the current stuff and get the most out of your time
cons- you pay twice the value of the game
Waiting for the collection:
pros- only pay $60 for a while game
cons- you miss out on a lot of things
So just ask yourself what you would rather do.
NOTE: I know Bungie made microtransactions a thing to help reduce cost but will that really cover the money they made off of paid dlc.

Probably going to throw money at the screen as content is released. Why? Because I can. And you ain't my daddy so you can't tell me what to do

This has been happening ever since "game of the year" editions started. Getting all the content for less money. Most people knew what they're getting into when they play a "10+ Year project."

I'll do the same thing I did with destiny 1. Pay for the dlc's as they come along and experience them while their current.
