I'm curious how you guys feel about it, and what you think it means for our future generations.

While I understand that it helps people, genetically modifying/engineering humans is like playing God, and that, in my opinion is extremely dangerous. Humans are always creative, and yet destructive, look at the nuclear bomb, for example. It can be used as a deterrent, but can also be very risky. Human engineering could be extremely risky, one mistake in the ''code'' and if it happens, (which I hope not) and the ''human'' could reproduce, there could be serious birth defects. Meaning future generations would be seriously messed up. So I am absolutely against it.
