Name: Xyar 'Vadal ((Or simply Xy, Xyar, or Vadal, he answers to all))
Age: 23
Species: Sangheili
Gender: Male
Appearence: 6'7, 276 pounds, right eye is missing and he is also missing his upper right jaw, and bears the scars of lost sword fights over his neck, arms, and torso
Wears ceremonial armor, similar in construction to an Arbiter's, if less gilded
Equipment:
Retribution and Honor
Twin Energy swords with gilded hilts, their blades are a lighter cyan and are slightly lighter and faster than the normal variants, sheathed at the waist normally
Fire of Sanghelios
Plasma Rifle with increased fire speed, damage, and with an added burn
Its plasma is much hotter and unstable than that of a normal rifle's, and often can pierce a Spartan's armor with ease
Needs recharge and to cool down constantly
Arbiter's Garb
Though not himself an Arbiter, he wears the armor of his ancestor, Ripa 'Moramee, the fourteenth arbiter
It confers a bonus against energy weapons with its shield and is practically ballistic proof, but he wears only a bodysuit under the plates, and only wears plates on the front of his torso, vambraces on his forearms, shoulder pauldrons, and knee, shin, and foot guards, leaving his body open to the rear and sides
Personality: Easily angered, strong sense of honor and right, loyal to his allies, kin, and clan
Bio: After the human-covenant war, and the Great Schism, the Sangheili were divided into the loyalists, and separatists. Xyar's family was associated with the Loyalists, the family honor-bound to remain with the covenant after the oaths sworn by Ripa many years earlier.
Shortly after, the war ended, the seperatists victorious, and Xyar's family once again cast into dishonor
Enter 'Vadal, The dishonored.
To regain his family's honor as Swordsmen and women, and as Sangheili, Xyar entered into a pact with Thel 'Vadum, the Seventeenth and Last Arbiter
The pact: Find the greatest band of warriors and train until he was worthy to face the Arbiter himself, and though Xyar was an accomplished fighter and marksman, he was forced to prefer swords.
Ironically, Thel 'Vadum then forced Xyar to wear the once-lost armor of his ancestors, and use the weapons of them as well, to cleanse the filth of dishonor from them along with his name
He was given a Phantom, provisions, and his family's blessing, and headed to the dojo in search of glory and restoration
