Exotics decrypting below light level
I just ground for an engram, took a day or two to get one to drop. I use the engram hoping for a special weapon I've yet to see, but instead I get an invective lower than both my slot level and character level.
What is the deal?
I want to progress, but have been stuck with objective downgrades as "rewards".
I want a refund from the cryptarch.

I'm guessing it was on your 392 titan? So what I found out, which sucks. Once you get to 390-395 or so. Exotics will drop higher light only when you're decrypting whatever slot is your lowest. Aka Everything is 392, except primary and special are 390. Open helmet, it'll be 391 or 392. Open primary. Will be 393. This includes having your ghost and artifact up. Keep grinding the banner. Do arcons forge for ghost and artifact after ib. You'll get there.
