So I am on the hunt for a Crux of Crota so I can get the Necrocasim and I have a few questions. Does it drop regardless of whether you have the Eidolon Ally upgraded or on the character you are using at the time? Have any of you gotten it without owning the husk of the pit or Eidolon Ally? I guess I keep raiding and hopefully the RNG gods answer my prayers lol I have read a few tips around needing glowhoo on the character you are trying with, however it seems that is debunked as well.
