So i was thinking, being a vanilla year 1 player i had the pleasure of listening to Dinklebot as the voice of our ghost and while he may have been rather bland at times to listen to his voice fit rather well with some situations, now we have nolan north who be all means is an exceptional voice actor but its kind of annoying having the equivalent of 343 guilty spark accompanying me everywhere. The voice for the ghost is way to peppy now, i mean i play the majority of my time with my warlock who with the new superblack shader combined with the ram, touch of malice and TTK dead orbit spektar gear i look like a cultist straight out of resident evil 4. Yet here this happy, peppy little light bulb cheering everything up all the time. So now to the point (bit of a read) my suggestion is why not have some in house staff/voice actors record more lines for the ghost and allow you to pick from them, shit charge people like $5-10 of you want per voice, or at least make it an option in destiny 2 cause im sure if thats a serious notion that in a year or 2 this game wont mean a thing.
Anyways love the game just a little pet peev ive had since nolanbots rise.

Agree and disagree with the choice of North. Sure he seriously messed some lines (see also: "We've woken the hive") but the overall sarcastic/flippant nature North uses nails other lines (see also: "They are dead, you are not" upon completion of Forge... or "I'm sorry little files..." when landing on Venus). Something tells me Dinklebot would have had issue with lines such as those. That said, I'd be down with voice packs provided they were done well -and- the tone matched the encounter.
TBH, I actually miss the original "A cell from the Prison of Elders..." line
