We've all been with the LFG Groups, or even friends we play with on a regular basis, but no matter what you do the team just can't get the objective done. As someone who has decent knowledge of the raid and enjoys helping others I'm trying to throw some tips together to ensure everyone stays alive and increases their damage outputs.
Vosik Phase 1 (Generators)
Not much to say here, just make sure the people defending the generators are able to kill shanks while staying alive, designate the low light players to run for charges as it doesn't take very much effort.
Vosik Phase 2
Arguably the most difficult encounter during Heroic Mode. This encounter is full of things with one purpose, to make you die. It happens, I've died, you've died, your favorite streamer has died, Deej has died, we all do it and there isn't much we can do about it, but there are things that can be put in place to prevent as many deaths as possible.
Heroic Mode Only
The safe rooms will be about 75% closed, meaning you must crouch or slide under them (Not Shadestep) If choosing to slide under the door, don't try to slide early and time it, just run into the door and slide after you have banged your knee on it.
Titans
Blessing of Light is an amazing tool for this encounter, just make sure you put the bubble somewhere that allows multiple people to grab the buff and isn't easily shot at by Vosik (as he 1-2 shots the bubble to break it)
Also, if there is an abundance of Titans in the group you can run both weapons and blessing and feel unstoppable.
Hunters
Grenades.. We all know you are using Nightstalker, so hit those damn doors with every nade you've got! Especially on the right side where enemies to sit back and only come out when someone needs to go grab a bomb. Also, if you have a couple others hunters, arc blade is useful if the bomb drops far up in a dangerous location. Gunslinger with celestial nighthawk is also very good for damage on bosses and clearing captains.
Master Rac- I.. I mean Warlocks
As a Warlock Main I notice a lot of things people do wrong. If you are going to use Sunsinger pop that super and spam grenades at the bosses, it gives an extra 45% damage you're missing out on. (Stacks with tether and melting point).
I personally run Voidwalker to nuke the captain that spawns on whichever side I am on. My team sometimes doesn't even realize it's dead as they hardly get to see it. Also, the health regeneration on grenade Melee and super kills is amazing.
Siege Engine (Death Zamboni)
This encounter can be hell for many teams, especially if played without some form of strategy.
Basics
During the first phase where players are shooting at the Engine, have someone use a super to clear ads, tether/blessing bubble/stormtrance/arc blade/hammers work wonders here. If anyone dies before the engine suffers a "hull breach" just wipe, it isn't worth it to try and continue with 5 people this early into the encounter.
Once the first wall has been knocked over, designate 3 players to be the first to pick up the parts, the other 3 clear ads and destroy the bombs that slow/kill everything. Also make sure to shoot the turrets off of the Skiffs that drop enemies, they aren't very forgiving. Also, if ads are proving to be a problem you can quickly pick up a part and drop it right away to spawn in the mines and then go kill all the ads. Afterwards go grab the parts and you'll only have to worry about Meksis and the Walker.
Heroic Mode Only
Once the parts are about 75% of the way to the Engine, a Fallen Walker Tank will spawn in front of the ramp. Drop the parts and shoot the damn thing, snipers/sleeper/gjallarhorn/etc.
Once the parts are aboard the Engine, make sure to bring them to the right locations. The Drive Shaft (Blue) goes in the front right location near the ramp. The Warhead (Yellow) goes in the center on the side facing the ramp. The Engine Block (Green) Goes in the far left location (have a second person follow the Engine carrier to pick it up when dropped).
Titans
Once again, Blessing of Light is amazing for keeping the fire team alive. Weapons is useful if your team isn't able to kill the Walker Tank quickly. Also, Sunbreakers can use their super for dealing with the captains that spawn near the Walker Tank.
Hunters
Nightstalker is the very good for this as having Tethers to deal with ads is amazing, especially if paired with a Stormcaller or Sunbreaker. Bladedancers using an invisibility build could be useful for carrying parts, but many enemies have AoE attacks and you will get hit anyways. Using Gunslinger with the Nighthawk Helmet will do mass amount of damage to the tank if played on Heroic Mode.
Warlocks
Stormcaller, the ad clearing machine. When Greg the Dreg hears you activate your Stormtrance he and his entire squad bend over and spread they're peg legs because they know they're -blam!-ed. Stormtrance can also kill Meksis (Captain that closes the ramp)
Aksis Phase 1
This is a pretty self explanatory encounter, just make sure you're in the right spot at the right time. In between cycles when the shanks spawn, tethers and blessing bubbles ensure everyone stays alive. The best spot I have found for the tethers is above Aksis' head on the back wall, as it will tether the shanks right out of the spawns.
Titans
Blessing Bubbles once again work very well for keeping the team alive, especially since there is no boss to damage so WoL isn't needed. (Put the bubble in between two sides to allow more people to get the shield.
Striker also works well as it can one shot the Captains.
Hunters
Either tether (for shanks) or Celestial Nighthawk (for Captains) work well.
Warlocks
All 3 subclasses work well, voidwalker is good for killing the captains right when they spawn, and Stormcaller can clear ads/kill captains. If you choose to use Stormtrance on the captains make sure you either have them flinched or move around as they will shoot at you and if you are lower light will kill you.
Aksis Phase 2
I just spent 15 minutes typing things for Phase 2 and phogoth to save it. Fml
To those saying there isn't much useful information, this thread is for everyone to come together and give input on what they have found to be the best way to complete each encounter.

Here is my tip for Vosik Phase 2: Loadout of the whole fireteam: Primary: Either Chaos Dogma (Scout) or Steel Medulla (Pulse) or any other primary you are comfortable with (Raid weapons do additional damage to fallen, which really helps) Special: Quantiplasm or any other void shotgun (again raid weapons do additional damage to fallen, which really helps) Heavy: Sleeper Simulant - For additional damage we had weapons of light, tether and solar grenades with viking funeral. Damage was never a problem, we actually had to take care that Vosik won't go down during the second damage phase. - Hunters used their thether as many times as possible. If there are more than one titan: only one needs weapons of light, every other titans can switch to blessing to keep the team alive during add-phase. - Captains neither were a problem since we could just melt them with two void shotguns. - Monitors could easily be taken down with our primaries. In my opinion this is the best and most reliable loadout regarding damage output and survivability. Of course the Spindle could do more damage if you hit all shots crit, but like said, more damage is not needed. I was one of the two guardians who had to close the door with the siva bombs. I just fired 6 Sleeper shots and then took my bomb and had a look on which doors will become activated. Could call it out early enough and everyone could get there in time.
