https://imgur.com/ltU2n I enjoy this quote. It is about a man who creates a monster in a blasphemous act to play God. How fitting. “I have love in me the likes of which you can scarcely imagine and rage the likes of which you would not believe. If I cannot satisfy the one, I will indulge the other.” -Mary Shelley, Frankenstein I have done all that I could whilst scouring Iconoclast archives. My source has proved useful, providing me ample instructions to use their printing machines in order to retrieve physical copies of these profiles. It has been a few Sols after raiding the information cache and my trail is still clean. If I were a man of faith, I would pray that it stays that way. OPENING ICONOCLAST ARCHIVES: CLEARANCE LEVEL 5 REQUIRED Scanning... ACCESS GRANTED. WELCOME, DOCTOR MERICH Name - Lucien "False Prophet" Farcòn
Subject has acquired a title during his time with the Tribals. For any confused personnel, a title in the Tribal culture implies a respectable reputation in overall prowess and Infected hunting. Moreover, the Tribals exiled him and branded the subject as a "False Prophet," the name soon becoming synonymous being used by the Abbatial and funded forces alike.
Gender - Male Description -
Subject is of Southern Pacific (Earth) Asian descent and other unidentified races, common for Tribal mongrels. Height: 5'11 Hair: Black. Uncut, usually found tied into a single thin braid. Eye Colour: (Formerly) Dark Brown, reverted to a light Hazel* *Lightening of iris colour is a common side effect of MSCV inoculation.
Status - AT LARGE. LOCATE AND SUBDUE AT ALL COSTS
Lucien Farcòn is highly dangerous and must be prevented from causing any further damage at all costs (see: Auburn Steppes Massacre, Interrogation of Captured Tribal [DATA EXPUNGED]). He is a wildcard that has proved to be a thorn in our sides for years now. Negotiation is not a viable option (offer has been made on multiple occasions) therefore termination of target is deemed to be the best solution in this scenario.
Whereabouts - [DATA EXPUNGED]
ACCESS DENIED.
Weapons
"False Prophet's Flame" Mutagenic Stem Cell Virus Inoculation: Subject has been deemed HIGHLY LETHAL due to his possession of a MSCV inoculation. Mutagenic cells develop extra mitochondria that can boost heat transference to create extremely hot blue flames and calcification of regenerating cells via burning to create crude weapons (see: Addendum 1a for interview relating to possible acquisition of subject's inoculation). [CAPTURED IMAGE OF SUBJECT'S MUTATION INTO "ELDRITCH ANGEL" INFECTED] https://imgur.com/Kd304 -x1 Modified Eastern Blade https://imgur.com/Sf2g0 The blade's name is Talidikkit. In my ancestor's tongue it meant "Flame that cuts like razor." It is based upon a Japanese katana in structure but is more complicated than any Iconoclast analyst could ever understand. It is a siderite-ceramic alloy katana with meta-material micro perforations that allow for the adhering of flammable, napalm-like fluids such as my blood, which can exceed temperatures of most high-value metals' melting point. The blade is partially hollow in some places to allow for a separately developed strain of my inoculation virus to form and take shape within the blade, giving it an almost living quality: a nigh-sentient link to its creator that allows them to control the blade's "organs" flow of napalm blood. I created the scabbard after I deserted the tribals. A napalm-ethanol solution lays dormant in the attached fuel barrel until activated via quick draw (assisted by affixed trigger mechanism near mouth grip). Ironically, the blade has become somewhat of a sentient organism itself by the development of the DNA within the sword. If reconnected with the creator's own bloodstream/base virus strain, the parallel mutations will combine to empower the infected with an apotheosis-level of control over their flames. -x1 Modified "Raging Judge" Mateba Model Revolver https://imgur.com/Zy9J2 Ico was accurate for the most part. I got that revolver handcrafted by one of the best gunsmiths amongst the Tribals. Based on the old Earth "Raging Judge" model, I have adapted it to the traditional Mateba frame in accordance to other Tribal sidearms. It fires .45 Long Colt, .454 casull and .410 shotgun shells, effective at both duelling and dispatching of Infected. Although firearms are not very effective due to the nature of the mutagenic stem cell virus, the latter being the more viable for the traditional Wanderer discipline of the Tribal culture. -Stolen Decommissioned Contraband -M79 "Thumper" 40mm grenade launcher The ammunition it fires is quite special too, ranging from a variety of remade experimental Ico designs - regular explosive, Anti-Personnel tungsten shrapnel, etc. But my favourite and most useful against armoured foes are breaching charges, special grenades with a drill bit used for boring through armour then detonating. Fins deploy when the grenade is airborne, stabilizing its trajectory. -x2 .50 Desert Eagle Pistols -Modified Sawed-Off 2-Gauge Shotgun -PTRS-41 Anti-Tank Rifle (Modified Ammunition)
Apparel
Subject is in possession of a modified Tribal overcoat fitted with decommissioned Iconoclast technology. Said apparel's outer layer is seemingly a traditional Tribal veg-tanned leather (6mm) with various ceramic plates covering areas such as the shoulders and elbows. During the temporary imprisonment of the subject, tests have revealed that the material of his apparel is directly linked to the DNA of a person inoculated with MSCV - most likely the subject's DNA. This implies that this portion of the apparel has been made of discarded Infected tissue, hardened similarly to the Abbatial's "Godvessel" (see: Known Abbatial anomalies). Beneath this is a separate layer (unknown width) of Pre-Scorch insulated nano-cellulose. While said width is indeterminate at the time of testing, it is enough to withstand most small arms munitions ranging from .22 - .50~. Subject is also in possession of a single repurposed Old Earth gas mask repurposed into a Tribal hallucinogen rebreather (see: Documents on Tribal usage of hallucinogens).
Skills
Apex Swordsmanship: During his time with the Infected-hunting Tribals, subject became one of their best with a blade. While he has been demonstrated to know a multitude of armed Martial Arts (HEMA, kenjutsu, etc.) as well as prowess with many different melee weapons, he prefers to use his custom-made weapon and apply his techniques to such. CQC Firearm Prowess: The "Wanderer" discipline of the Tribals calls for the usage of a sidearm wielded in tandem with a melee weapon to confound and overwhelm the enemy. Subject is highly adept with his revolver and other firearms, demonstrating exceptional sharpshooting skills due to his inoculation and Tribal herbs, but his skill is most exemplified upon close-quarters combat. "Wanderer" Tribal Discipline: Subject displays a mastery of arguably one of the most complex of Tribal disciplines, calling for extreme skill from CQC swordsmanship and firearm techniques. The discipline involves using the sidearm to disorient the target and striking with the blade in tandem. Enhanced Perception: Upon using the sense-enhancing Tribal herbs, the subject gains highly-enhanced reaction time. Proxy: Lucien can summon "proxies" of those he has devoured before. This demands a transformation of flesh, so he cannot just summon a proxy out of nowhere. He will usually create proxies from corpses. Weaponsmith: Has extensive knowledge of firearms, melee weapons and advanced materials.
Equipment
Subject is in possession of various decommissioned and Pre-Scorch contraband. This includes (but is not limited to): EMPs, MSCV Testing Equipment, experimental Iconoclast and Old Earth meta-materials, hydrochloric acid (possibly used for blade maintenance, see: Documents on "Youtou" Strain-Harbouring Weapons), multiple Old Earth books (genre varies) and classified Iconoclast documents. Subject is also in possession of a notebook acting as a personal compendium. The compendium is believed to have information compiled on a plethora of encounters, ranging from fighting methods to theories on MSCV inoculation. Information may prove vital. Even the Icos have secrets they don't want their fellow higher-ups knowing. I've had a run-in or two with a few Iconoclast agents using Pre-Scorch power armour and exosuits. I've been developing a few EMP rounds based off of some Old Earth weapon drafts I scoured off of a near-defunct database by a weapons facility. The round releases an electromagnetic charge upon impact, simple but effective. I've also been looking into adapting a few of my .410s into a sort of electromagnetic field upon the release of multiple pellets. Hm. Seems I need to find some better conductive materials.
Addendum 1a
The following is an audio transcript between former Tribal (designated "Iscariot" for confidentiality) and Dr. Arys Merich. [BEGIN AUDIO TRANSCRIPT] Dr. Merich: So you claim that the subject - my apologies, Lucien, - sought out the Tribals in preparation for the Auburn Steppes massacre? Iscariot: Yes, Doctor. Lucien Farcòn went by a different name, one that I don't know, before being mentored by Lael Farcòn. It is in our tradition to take on the surnames of our mentors and slightly altering their first to represent a new rebirth and story to an old legacy. Dr. Merich: Lucien. Iscariot: Right, my apologies. Lucien Farcòn first came to us as a distraught young man clearly in turmoil after... Something in his life. At the time we didn't know his past - to this day most of us still don't. But he was a bright pupil. Embraced our ways, learned our techniques, created his own weapons and helped out others. Only he did not embrace our hunting traditions. Dr. Merich: I am quite well-informed of your people's usage of hallucinogens during your hunts. are you saying Lucien Farcòn rejected the usage of such drugs? Iscariot: No, no. Lucien openly accepted the true vision of the hunt - he did not entertain the idea of our employment of memory-altering rites. Dr. Merich: No need for the history lesson, [REDACTED]. Tell me of his desertion. Iscariot: He became rather interested in the concept of demonization, what you people call inoculation. Becoming an abomination himself. One night his mentor went out to kill one of the Abbatial's sickening creatures and never returned. Lucien went after him and came back a few Sols later... But changed. Dr. Merich: Changed? As in he had undergone the inoculation process. Iscariot: Indeed, Doctor. Lucien came back with fire in his eyes. Perhaps they were always there, hidden beneath the veneer of his prowess. Regardless, we exiled him and branded him as an abominable monster hiding within a boy. He laughed. We would've killed him on the spot but none of us could bring ourselves to do it. Some days I wish I had, if I had only known what he was going to do next. Dr. Merich: Then Auburn Steppes happened. Iscariot: We didn't know what he was gonna do. We didn't know that all that time, all that training was meant to prepare him for that. We didn't know we were the ones fuelling the fires of his vengeance. I'm quite sorry... It's all too vivid in my mind. I was a part of the group that was sent to find him after we heard what happened. Found him at the far end of the settlement - well, what was left of it. His sword... How can something like a blade be coated in so much blood? He spared me, you know. Killed three other experienced warriors within a few heartbeats. Said to me, "go back, [REDACTED]. Go back and tell the others to stop hunting for me." But the most terrifying moment for me was when he said that, through that... inferno of hatred and revenge, there was a flicker of the Lucien that we all knew. A flicker of regret. And it still haunts me to this day knowing that boy will always be trapped in that monster, unable to do anything as the beast he created devours everything in front of him. [END AUDIO TRANSCRIPT] I'm sorry, Uriel. I'm so sorry. Never again. Never again.
