This is kind of a difficult topic to talk about, since it's embarrassing and indicative of a bigger problem I have. I don't really know where to start with this, so I'm going to go back to where things were good.
Last June, I closed on my first house. As a newly-engaged 23 year old, who recently graduated from college, and locked down a full-time job, I was incredibly excited. That's the level of independance that several people my age have been striving for, and I finally thought I had it made.
Fast forward to today, and I'm in over my head. I got laid off. Student loans are piling up, I won't be able to afford my own wedding, and I'm already missing mortgage payments. In he meantime, my dog got sick, so veterinary bills are stacking up.
I'm in over my head. My world's been flipped on its head in 5 short months. At this point, I need a hero. I'm holding out for a hero til the end of the night. He's gotta be strong, and he's gotta be fast, and he's gotta be fresh from the fight. I need a hero. I'm holding out for a hero til the morning light. He's gotta be sure, and he's gotta be soon, and he's gotta be larger than life.

Edited by Some Black Guy: 10/30/2016 11:03:58 AMI hope everything gets better. Hope you get a job soon and you can stay on track. Do not get married! Save your money for the house. No, I'm not married or divorced (24), but it is very expensive. The average wedding is $27,000. Average ring price is $6,000. That is a lot of money that can go towards your house and paying off those loans. Just stay with her for the rest of your life and be happy. You don't need a marriage to say "I love you." Marriage rates are dropping for a reason. Try your luck at a job you're over qualified for, until you get the one you went to college for. It might suck for a while, but it'll help somewhat man. I could not tell if this was a serious post, so damn, that ending clarified it for me. Advice fail.
