I was online the first hour after the event went live, and I was standing in front of Eva and saw it pop up that the guy next to me got it. Right now I have enough silver dust to get the Gjallarwing from Tess, but frick does that sparrow look uglier than Oryx even if he brushed his teeth. I'm enjoying the Lost Broom at the moment, hoping that Bungie decides to stop spinning on their Bad Dragon toys and let us keep it. If they don't, eh. Whatever, I went and bought an Emerald Coil from Xur and a rare sparrow from the vanguard armorer. That'll tide me over until I can grind the 40POE for sterling treasures to get the voidrunner I had on PSN back. That and [i]Gloriole Jump[/i]... although I do like my [i]Slipper Misfit[/i]. Damn thing looks like the [i]Vic Viper[/i]. Unless Tess still sells the things that give you sparrows from SRL.. I did get the Ghost ghost though, and that's kind of funny. Here's hoping for Crimson Days though, because I loved the Crimson Shell. It threw off little hearts and sparkles and stuff, made it seem like Ghost got hit by Cupid's arrow, and since I main a female hunter it was kind of cute and funny in a way ever time I summoned him.

It was free money that some guy just handed to me at work. A few youtubers spent more than $100 on it, but I really want that sparrow. Pissed me off when Patrick Casey figured out that the estimated drop chance of the sparrow/wolf mask/ghost shell is less than 2%. I got Superblack, I got the emblem, I got the shader, and right now I'm grinding strikes for keys and crucible to get the other two shaders, but you would think that because you're spending real money, Bungie would at least have the common courtesy to give you the sparrow on a silver platter(pun intended.). Or at the very least take you out to dinner before they rail you like Cartman's mom.
