Is the New Monarchy quest broken?
I have all 3 required items equipped but the kills or missions/matches aren't counting in the quest.

Im having same issue, i even got a chroma peice and it still wont work

Please choose a Chroma Reward next time, and I'll try and give you a Spektar Class Item. Equipping it, or a Y1/Y2 Class Item should also solve your problem. I'm sure you've already done more than enough to earn your Exotic Item, and appreciate your understanding... Thank you for your continued support and remember, you have friends in the New Monarchy.

Spektar seems to be broken. Probably the new ones too. Dunno man, I did it year two. So yeah...

You need to equip a Spektar class item.

Check which class item you have on. I recently did the quest for dead orbit and one of the new class items wasn't working properly. I needed to swap to one of the old models (the legendary version of the exotic actually) for it to progress.
