Just wondering anyone who uses a scuf controller, what set up for the paddles do you use for trials? Eg jump and crouch or is it best to have revive/collect ammo on there instead

I have an elite controller for X1. I use all 4 paddles and use them for the face buttons. Long stick for aiming, dome stick for comfortable movement. Trigger dead zones adjusted for trigger stops. No changed thumb settings. No vibration. Use rounded d pad for style

Elite. Upper left: X (revive) Upper right: Y (swap) Lower left: B (crouch) Lower right: A (jump) I find this does not over work one side to another and also easily leta Me jump slide and revive

If I had a scuf controller I'd use it for easier access to dancing
-
I just use the paddles closest to edges for jump and crouch. I have hair triggers and sometimes since it's so sensitive I end up ADSing everytime I squeeze the controller too hard. Haven't figured out how to change that yet so I just run with a normal controller for destiny.

use x and Square. You can switch your controller settings to Puppet Master and have O on your right joystick

Edited by Bradaconda V2: 10/27/2016 2:34:16 AMI don't have a scuf but I do have a knock off from Power A and I bound the paddles to rb, lb on the left and lb, rb on the right. Easy to activate super, do Nightstalker melee/grenade, shoot/melee, shoot/grenade, and shoot/melee/grenade combos. Also having the bumpers back there makes it easy to do melees or grenades while jumping, sprinting, crouching, in conjunction with shooting. it takes some getting used too but once you get it, it's great!

I just use an elite controller and I cannot get the hang of the paddles. So awkward and clunky. I just play normally

I run Jump under left and b under right. F revives ( because you shouldnt be reviving under fire) B is way more useful since you can aim and slide or aim and roll or aim and twilight garrison.) I have the elite, the other advice i have is if you have the elite use the upper buttons on the back and flip the SHORT paddles upside down. gives you more room to grip the controller with you pinky and ring fingers.

I only use the 2 smaller paddles. Right one is for jump and left is for revives. That way my thumbs never leave the sticks
-
I can't decide on which scuf I'd like to have. There are so many options.... And I've had a friend who's had 2 and the Cheaper one he bought that was pre painted and stuff didn't last very long

Was wondering about this as well but for ps4.

So the elite is the way to go then you think. That has 4 paddles is that correct

i have a elite, only use 2 paddles tho one for jump and the other for crouch *shadestep*
