So I was shopping in Walmart earlier this afternoon when I caught a glimpse of this in the electronics department. They stocked Skyrim: Special Edition for Xbox One and PS4 three days early. I wonder how many copies accidentally got sold.

I mean, not like it matters much. Its a 5 year old game anyways.

I saw on Bethesda website that one the users there got is copy early from Walmart online as well

At the Walmart I work at it is physically impossible to ring up games, movies, or just about anything, until its offcial release. The register simply says "<item cannot be sold>", and then whoever put it on the shelf begins to feel stupid, when they look at the box and it says "do not display or sell until ________". If I were in your situation, I would've let someone know they put it out early.

I bought it early. 4 or so years ago

There's not much to spoil.

0 were sold. Registers won't ring up games until the official release time. They'll get removed from the game case the second someone trys to buy a copy.
