Does anyone else feel sorry for those bird people?
They're just trying to make ends meet in that frozen shithole they live on. They barely attack you and they're hunted by the big crow dude too.

But because of Sister Friede taking the light away, the painted world began to "rot" The painter himself was trapped in the painting, and the people within it began rotting away along with what's left of the painting. As the painting shrivelled, so did they. Some even turned to hunting each other, to gain the favour of Sister Friede, but to no avail. So yeah. They have it rough.

Yhea... i tried to ignore killing some.... i want to look up lore notes on fextra but nothing. The crow that talks brings up darkness. Im no lore expert but i believe the painted world shows an example of a world without flame... i guess how the citizens slowly turn to beasts and go mad. Hence why they ask to show her the flame in there and set things right. Sure glad i explored throughly. It was nice to snipe the corvians in the church. I would have been rekt otherwise.
