Hello everyone!
As some of you may know after years of failed negotiations, many video game voice actors are now going on strike. This will affect many big publishers, Activision included.
This means many of the wonderful actors you hear in Destiny like Nathan Fillion, Peter Stormare, Nolan North, Dee Bradley Baker (just to name a few) may not be around in future content.
What are you thoughts? Are you afraid this will affect Destiny 2's release date? Do you think Bungie will discuss this with the community, if they can legally?

Edited by Swiftlock: 10/25/2016 3:04:32 AMI mean, with a few rare exceptions like those moments with Cayde, Ghost, Eris, and Shaxx, I wouldn't say that Destiny is dripping with memorable, gripping dialogue. A lot of the NPC commentary is just filler, barking orders, or abstract fluff that isn't explained or immediately relevant. I mean, the voicework isn't bad, but it's odd that you have these strong VA's only for their talents to be mostly squandered. I don't think there'd be many broken hearts if Destiny 2 had a re-vamped cast of VA's as long as they did a great job and the dialogue is more focused on advancing the lore and portraying a good story.
