Lets talk about serious issues with carbon emissions. I know there are some users who still wont accept these issues but this is also informative to those that do.
The ocean water we all know and love is special to us. For instance, we have a MUCH lower carbon content in our atmosphere than our closest neighbors (mars and venus). This is due in part by our ocean's ability to absorb carbon dioxide fron the atmosphere and change it to carbonic acid... which in turn gives us carbonates and bicarbonates.. Which is used to protect our sea water's pH. The Ocean, in result, changes in pH and calcium carbonates (you know like chalk). For more information go online and type in pH regulation of seawater (i dont want to look shady and post a pdf file myself or anything)
So what? The pH changes a little with the carbonic acid but the Ca ions are there to fix this! Now lets say we increase that carbon supply. Lets dump more carbon for our oceans to process. Lets drop that pH alot more. This is called OCEAN ACIDIFICATION. Acid.. sounds bad? Well it is. If our blood gets too alkaline or acidic, it can be deadly. That logic can and will apply to the fish too.
I will leave a link below to the damage it can cause within the shelled, skeletoned, and coral communities. This by extension affects the oceanic food chain and ours as well. It will also show the history and future of increased ocean acidification. I will also link a john hopkins study on the increase of plankton in reflection of the increased carbon. I can link how the coral reef is dying but im sure you all know about it already. No it is not dead yet that memoir was early but it is dying (if you know what i am talking about). Final link will show just some data and research from MIT. Dont forget there are plenty if online pdf sources and other places.
Any questions? Feel free to use this to spread the word and argue the problems as well as the proof of increased carbon emissions.

In 1980 it was global cooling with a catastrophic ice age coming by the 1990's to 2000's. By the early 2000's it was global warming with a catastrophic melting of the ice caps and 60 ft sea level rise by 2015-2016. Now it is climate change with catastrophic climate failure and an unlivable planet by 2040. Anyone else see a pattern here? I mean every piece of "research" and every leading scientist said that the north pole would be gone by 2015-2016 and yet its still here. Now global warming is no longer the term and the dates have been pushed back yet again. This is my whole problem with these global warming conspiracy theorists. They also completely ignore 3 things that are vital to our climate and our planet and we have no control over whatsoever. The first is the sun. The sun goes through cycles of increased output and decreased output which in their minds has no effect whatsoever on our overall climate despite the vast amount of energy that basically powers all life and our weather cycles coming directly from the sun. These cycles also correspond to their claims of either cooling or heating yet again it must be a non factor. Its not like a 1% increase or decrease in solar output could change our planets temperature a few degrees right? The second biggest thing is volcanoes. While old research shows that volcanoes had "little effect" on the climate newer research has shown many interesting things such as larger output of gas many times more than previously thought, long term impacts that can be seen globally such as affecting temperature years after an eruption, and the release of exotic more harmful gasses not previously measured. Volcanoes were solely responsible for melting the Snowball Earth (a period when the entire Earth froze solid on the surface). They also are held responsible for completely melting the poles in the past for a Tropical Earth system, and yet must have little to no impact on our climate today when many go off... Seriously? The final aspect is CO2's vast insignificance compared to other greenhouse gasses. Methane for example is actually extremely harmful compared to CO2 but is often ignored and considered insignificant. Even water vapor, yes water, has a greater warming effect than CO2 and simply having more moisture in the air can cause fiercer storms and extreme changes in temperature in either direction. In fact it is the biggest and most abundant greenhouse gas. Water vapor is a greenhouse gas that has much stronger effect on climate so what do we do? We push for hydrogen and water vapor based cars because that will be a non harmful emission vehicle. I mean come on... This is basic things about the greenhouse effect and yet even that is ignored. So keep date setting and claiming the apocalypse is near in a different form every decade. It definitely doesnt make you look like those end of the world fanatics or religious fringes that claim similar things every few years.
