My problem with Splicers
Why do Dregs, Vandals, and Captains have missiles that come out of their neck when killed with a headshot? I feel like I'm being punished for getting a headshot every time a 'neck missile' comes after me. Headshots should be rewarded with a faster kill, not punished with neck missiles.

At least they aren't as bad or plentiful as the exploding orbs or black spheres of death the taken blast at you.....tried to solo the baroness on Venus for Petra's bounty but had so many of those back things coming at me I couldn't count them and I stopped jumping to evade them I was dead.

1 ReplyThey obviously ran out of ideas and you know they love trolling us. The gave us weapons that reward precision (outbreak prime, chaos dogma etc) then punish us for being efficient. Bungie logic.

I kind of agree. I mean you can shoot em but they are just so slippery so to speak. In the raid i always like 10 of those things chasing me at all times.

Either I have gotten many precision kills or it's not that often for me... Isn't to big of a deal for me, but then again, haven't done the hard raid where everyone is getting headshot after headshot.

Firefly sometimes seems to cancel the 2nd and 3rd orbs generated by destroying the first. This is by far the most annoying mechanic in the raid.

3 RepliesI actually like those homing death grenades, makes the Fallen just a little better than just fodder. That plus the fact that Vandals have a tiny crit box for their head. Servitors are also quite deadly now, making them more than capable of defending themselves and laying down some suppression. Shanks are still... meh, but are quite annoying in the raid.
