I think the concept has been a long time coming and we will benefit tremendously from Nintendo's development talent throwing their full weight behind one platform. Cons? I think it's ugly and I'll probably never take the handheld out of the dock. Pretty much with every 3DS game I own I'd rather it have been on the Wii U just because I play my 3DS on the couch. I don't take my 3DS around with me. I have a phone for that. There are still too many unknowns to make a final judgement. Price will be a major factor as will lineup of exclusives. And I think flaunting Skyrim, a five year old game, on your new console is a testament to how pathetic third party support for Nintendo consoles is and will continue to be. I remember them doing that with the Wii U's announcement. It just reinforces the worry people have that this will be a Nintendo machine and that you'll still need an Xbox or Playstation.
