I haven't the slightest clue as to what it is. I was planning on making a Destiny story a long while back but I simply didn't know what the hell the Void is or how it works. Can anybody help me out here?

Gravity

I've always thought of it as some spin on either dark energy or dark matter.

"The Void is not the Darkness. The Darkness is what it is. Void energy is like all things of this universe, it is Light seen through a prism. A fundamental force, the vacuum between the stars, the absence of everything else. Just try explaining that to someone who has never walked the Void." —Toland's Journal "Therefore, if Light connects across space and time, what is the Void? What role does the vacuum—the absence—play? What stops the Darkness from entering into the places between the stars? The answer is simple: the Void is just another type of Light." —Ulan-Tan

The Void is the absolute nothingness that exists between the stars and planets in the universe.

Edited by owsoni: 10/19/2016 5:31:03 PMThe void is energy, and therefore doesn't have mass. Void energy is basically the space between particles, like Cannon said. It holds particles together and pushes them away.

The gap between universes/dimensions. Just a guess lol.

Holy sh}t!! You've made a post that isn't a sh#tpost?!
Jk and in pretty sure the void is some sort of cosmic energy that's left over from when the universe exploded into existence. It's pretty hard to tell
Its pretty and kinda edgy

Void is nothing basically. With no atomic or subatomic particles, just... nothing
-
Well it's weird because it's associated with nothingness as well as gravity. Those are contradictory concepts.
-
It's the empty space between particles. It's works by pushing/pulling particles apart.
-
The Void is the space between spaces. It is pure absence. It's often misunderstood as the concept of nothing being something is difficult for most people to wrap their head around.
-
Nothing. It's literally nothing.
