Not the nerfing of guns or anything no I'm talking about the garbage problem of people carrying other people
Let's be honest once you go to the lighthouse that should be it you should be done why let someone who has already won just play to keep other people from going that's ridiculous
The worst part of it is you have people paying people to carry them and Bungie wants to just sit back and let it happen that's pitiful
And if you are one of these people
"Get GUD"
"You just aren't good enough"
Etc....
Congrats on being good at something for once I'm not calling anyone bad I'm not the best player but tbh it's simply just ridiculous that it's set up this way
I've been to the lighthouse been undefeated just before you waste your time saying just get better

No. Trials is controlled by basement dwelling mama's boys (aka streamers). Bungie won't make changes that upset these diaper sporting bottle sucking scrubs. Continue to show your support by paying for carries and funding their Monster addictions.
-
You should be glad these people are carrying others instead of just all playing together. Would you rather face a whole team of 2.0KD+ guys or just 2 of them and one scrub? People carrying isn't the issue, you being bad is.
-
Or idk, git gud? Dont have to tell me that you already went flawless, that was in year one. Much harder this time around.
-
Yeah the trails of Osiris are pretty hard to follow. He certainly does not maintain his trails very well.
-
Lol the best part of trials is stopping people from there flawless runs and then reading there complaints on the forums.I just don't understand why people don't understand that the lighthouse is an exclusive club for the better players.i don't like when people carry scrubs either but only because it allows them to feel like there apart of that club but there not and they know it
-
Don't complain because you haven't gone flawless
-
What's ridiculous is that people refuse to get better at the game and want to simple wish the good players away.
-
There is definitely an advantage in being older and not that good at PvP. I am comfortable with the fact that I am never going to the Lighthouse. I play Crucible when I want to, and am OK with being a Scrub Lord. Best of luck in the future. I hope you make it there!
-
The problem is that people are being paid to carry other people, either directly or by streaming. So bungie gets free publicity. Think about it without trails the "elite " PVP'er would just leave and less people would be streaming destiny. Trust me if bungo wasn't benefiting from this they would strike it down with a quickness.
-
Currently I am looking for a carry. And why? Because me and a friend of mine are both good at crucible but still suck at trials. We want to learn how to do this. Dont take our teacher away! Thank you for your time ~Lumi

I think they should just make it so that is everyone on your fireteam is flawless, you can't give anyone a loss. That way good players get their runs and loot and struggling players don't get aced as often.

Get GUD. Period.

Edited by Eternity: 10/19/2016 4:26:26 AMTbh I see no problem with trials as it is. You can pay people to carry you on raids also - that gets no flak here however because raids are not hard, going flawless is. Sorry but saying "remove hard content from the game because it is possible to pay somebody else to finish it for you" is flawed logic. Ideally Bungie wouldn't support streamers carrying people for subs/money - but they do a lot of free marketing for them so they let it slide. And to address your other point - what other game out there locks you out of even playing content for being good at it? Can you imagine the rage if Bungie locked raids once you had finished it for a week? Why would somebody raid for no loot? Same reason somebody would would play trials for no loot. They enjoy it. They're reasonably entitled to enjoy it - regardless of whether or not they've gone flawless that weekend. The simple truth is this: PvE is not challenging at all. Even the most 'elite' PvE activity in the entire game (raiding) is rubbish easy after a few weeks, with thousands of sherpas and teams ready to carry those without thumbs. PvP outside of trials is also not challenging at all. Why? Because it doesn't matter if you win or lose. Do well or badly. Everything in PvP other than trials requires you to do nothing but play it and be rewarded. The Shaxx questline has been nerfed to the ground. His weekly bounties and IB weekly bounties have been nerfed to the ground. The Thorn quest has been nerfed to the ground. Even Trials bounties are easier than ever before to complete. The Lighthouse is the single piece of content in the game that is firmly locked behind a non-grind wall. You have to be good to get there. The rewards are little more than cosmetics. There is zero reason to make it more accessable. The game desperately needs more, not less, content which is genuinely challenging.

The way it is set up is fine, if carries are beating you, you don't deserve to win. They are playing with a handicap and still mop the floor with you. I'm sorry dear but there isn't hope for you.
-
So basically everyone loses out on their fun to cater to your childish cuckold mindset? People play after they go flawless for fun. People carry other players because it's fun and a challenge. Maybe you should get good because it's really not hard to push buttons on a controller.
-
How about putting people that went flawless into a playlist that only has people that have been flawless for that week? Gives them a challenge and gives a fair chance to people who haven't been flawless.
-
the fact that people are paying people and it is the most watched twitch activity on destiny I would say along with bungie it is set up perfectly
-
I totally agree, not right at all.
-
*Trials, there it's fixed.
-
*Git gud
-
Only broken things can be fixed. Trials is not broken.
-
I love going up against people doing a carry, it's essentially a free 3vs2.
-
A fool and his money are soon parted. Anyone dumb enough to pay for someone else to play a game for them in order to acquire a virtual item deserves to be fleeced. Besides, who cares? It's a video game. We're talking about virtual items and rewards that mean nothing outside of the game and these toxic forums. You gonna put that shit on your resume or something? No lifer: Yes sir, I've killed both Atheon and Crota over 100 times across 3 different characters. I've gone flawless in Trials over 50 times. I have every exotic in the game and a K/D hovering around 1.9. Employer: Ya, that's great. Now let me hear you say, "Do you want fries with your burger sir?".
-
Lol u can still play the raid after u beat it and carry people through that. Why no trials? R u mad that someone can 1 v 3 u or somethin?
-
Trials is fine as it is.
