I'm not talking about the stability or damage directly. But the range... even using rangefinder I get a headshot from not even 30 feet away...57 damage. Wtf. That needs to be fixed somehow.
Poison? It's fine I wish they would not make it stack the way it is. If you get hit once, it ticks for 2 damage four times. And if you get hit twice it will still do the same damage, just twice. I wish it would keep multiplying by half every time. So hit once each tick does 2 damage, get hit twice each tick does 3 damage, 3 times is 4 and so on. Maybe not exactly that but something similar. That way someones health isn't draining constantly but your poison is still worth the damage to make constant shots. Or just make it keep extending the duration for every hit.
The stability I don't care about, it's an exotic. The exotic perk is supposed to make up for its mediocre stats. And that way you can actually master the gun.
But the range and base damage is rediculous. You can only go above 79 damage if you sacrifice basically all of your range and it only brings it up by 2 damage or 81 total. I think all together they need to change the archetype. It either needs to be a mid impact mid rof. Or high impact slow rof with a lower magazine like in y1 pre-buff. That way the range can be justified.
Either bungie really wants absolutely noone using this gun, or their idea of balance is crap. Because right now just the poison is not worth it. On top of phantom bullets, this gun is shìt right now. It needs fixing.
