This weapon right now is an utter joke.
-Its damage does about the same as bolt caster
-Its weakening effect doesn't help
-Its stats are the exact same as every other sword. (Seriously can we get arch types for swords already?)
-It launch's people into the air, making it hard for your team to hit the target
-It takes too much ammo to use its special
-Its ammo capacity is too low.
Proposed changes:
- Lower swing speed, increase impact
-Remove enemies launching into the air
-Make damage effect last longer
-Make ammo cost 6 instead of 10
-Make sword have more armor bonus than other swords
-Buff the damage booster to 20%
-Buff ammo capacity by 10%

I used it on captain's in the raid and it still seemed to get the job done.

Edited by Swiftlock: 10/17/2016 11:49:43 PMI'm not sure what people were expecting. An exotic that everyone gets for minimal effort is not going to be on a comparable power level as exotics that take considerable amounts of grinding and waiting to get.
-
The only thing it should do is handle ammo the same as other swords They also need to change the MG or rocket ammo perks on chest and boot armor BACK TO "CARRY MORE HEAVY AMMO"
-
It should have been an AXE
-
All it needs is an ammo consumption of 5 for the special like the rest of the swords. The flying enemies thing is either purely accidental or supposed to make the effect seem cooler. The special attack doesn't need to change, not every sword is going to be a DPS god like Raze-Lighter. It only took two full charges (?) of Heavy ammo total to take down the captain in the last Khvostov mission, which for me is 68•2.

Edited by MFGOD: 10/16/2016 6:54:45 PMFor a basically free exotic it's right where it should be. IMO It shouldn't negate the grind to get raze lighter. Think about it. The y2 legendary swords where more of a grind.
-
For something that you get for completing part of the story, it shouldn't be on the level of the y2 exotics swords, which took hours upon hours of grinding to get
-
It's a gimme weapon, with no real quest to it. It's fine as is, the r2 hit should be more expensive since it does a good deal of damage AND works as a melting point. Two things in one hit, so yes, it should cost ten ammo.

Lmfao who literally cares about this sword or any sword
