To Bungie,
I remember back in the days of year 1 where Thorn was a force to be reckoned with. The nerf in year 2 made Thorn completely irrelevant by decreasing its DOT from 7 down to 2. With the return of this hand cannon in RoI, I think you need to make this legendary hand cannon more relevant by at least increasing the DOT from 2 to 5 and give it better target acquisition to make sure those "ghost bullets" are a thing of the past.
Sincerely,
A concerned Thorn user
People who sucked at the game were the only ones complaining about it cause they could never beat someone experienced.
It doesn't. I like where it's at now. Dead. It serves as a fine testament to those who fell on it as a crutch for so long, abusing the damn thing. Same goes for "The Last Word."

No, it really doesn't NEED a buff. Just because it can't 2-tap doesn't mean it sucks. The argument that it has ghost bullets is irrelevant, as ALL hand cannons have ghost bullets.

I find it funny how in the original quest for Thorn, you're told to go kill a powerful Wizard in the Summoning Pits strike. Said Wizard is the one who was infesting Azzir's mind with doubt in the Light. Then, in the Rise of Iron Thorn quest the final step "Where it all Began" requires you to go into the Abomination Heist Strike (Year 3 Summoning Pits) and use a Skelton Key on the chest. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!!!!

The nerf didn't bother my game play much. So the knew year three version should be fine for me the hand cannons I use for play are always 2 shot head shot kills. Ill will. Lingering song. Thorn. First curse..
