Did Bungie really stealth-raise the Crux's drop chance the week before ROI came out?
Heard that this is the case from multiple people, and am looking for anyone who can give me confirmation.
For the week before ROI came out (while all that OWL stuff was going on), both the Vex Mythoclast and the Crux of Crota had their drop rate increased (not by just a little bit either. From what I've heard it was pretty much guaranteed), but they're both back to normal now.
Apparently they did this without telling anybody, so if you've been trying the raid every week for ages but happened to skip it that week (pre-expansion grinding, XP farming, etc.), you've essentially been robbed of what could've been your only chance to be free of this bloody curse.
If this is true, I'm going to be really pissed off, because doing something like this without telling anybody is a huge dick move. It's like leaving a f*cking gigantic pile of cash for someone in the middle of the woods, not telling them about it, and having some bear tear it to pieces weeks before they hear about it through a mutual friend.
So yeah, I'm asking if this is true. Did Bungie do this? If they did, was anybody told at the time, or did it just kind of happen? I was all over the forums that week, and I didn't see a thing about it.
