Title says it all.
I want to be in the shoes of a Trump supporter for a bit. Convince me otherwise and I'll try my best to argue your points. Should be a chuckle or two.

American manufacturers will receive an artificial advantage in the marketplace, but American consumers will have to settle for either lower-quality goods, or goods that were formerly cheaper in a free-trade environment. It's Bush's steel tariff all over again, but on a wider scale.
