What Have You Done To THORN?
Today i got Thorn and i was really happy. But then i went to play Crucible and i did 2 2 2 2 2 2 damage over time. I got 1 kill in Clash with it. If the enemy wasn't already damaged, i wouldn't have even have 1 kill with it.
In year 1 Thorn was a beast, now it's just a collectable item. I don't call it a weapon any more.
With a weapon i can at least make kills.
It's a real shame to nerf such a special weapon.
Waste of my time doing this many hours bounty.......for nothing.

Just like every other destroyed weapon/ability... They catered to the pvp nerfherders.

3 RepliesThere's a reason it was nerfed. For people like you, who only use thorns/Midas to get kills. Learn to use another gun kid.

Dots the same as the yr 2 nerf levels. The range is where they destroyed this gun. I'm sorry, but the range did not need to be reduced on this gun. It's a waste at this point in time.

Bungie was too scared about the backlash from the thorn returning, so they nerfed its range despite he fact that eyasluna and palindrome have better range, and destroyed the exotic perk, just like what they did with the last word.
