Dojo Bio Page

This is the dojo official bio page! Feel free to copy your stuff from the old group and post it here if you need to. If you are new, make your bio here! What is a bio?: You Bio describes who your character is and what they can do. Upon joining, please make a bio for your character. Before making your character, know that olden day characters(such as medieval characters) will likely be trumped by superior technology as well as future tech. The dojo is based in the present day. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE EACH CHARACTER TESTED. ONLY ONE.
If you are bugged by the dojo posts. You have a mute button. Use it. It's much faster than you making a post showing a lack of intelligence to use a mute button!
"Quit horsing around, please. You'll -blam!- something up." Name: Zachary Chandler Age: 21 Sex: Male Sexuality: Bisexual Appearance: Artfully messy, jet black hair, blue eyes. Light skin tone. Physique: -Decently muscular, built more for a hundred yard dash. -5'10" -165 lbs -High cheekbones -Square jaw Abilities: Zach's a quick learner, and a fast runner, with a top speed of 23 mph. Weapons: A three foot long straight sword. Zach's pretty good with it; no legend, however. Backstory:
Born into the Rosegold family three years before the sisters, Zachary always felt crowded after the birth of the quintuplet. On his first day at John West Academy for Mages of all Kinds, he quickly found that he had absolutely no magical talent; and so, he ran away from home, embarrassed to be such a weak 'mage' born into a famous mage family. After weeks on the run, eating from trash cans and drinking pond water, the eight year old came across a small village around a hundred miles away from his hometown. Zach refused to say where he came from, and was adopted into the Chandler family. Zach was a rather scrawny and weak child, as well as a violinist, and so starting from the elementary school he went to, Rideside, he was the target of bullying and targeting. He never told his parents about this, blamed his bruises on his clumsiness, which was a rather good lie; Zach was a very clumsy kid. The verbal bullying was merely kept silent. This went on until the seventh grade, when Zach finally went and punched one of the kids in the gut after school, and it soon turned into an all-out fight. Zach was, of course, beat the hell up. However, he got a few punches in, and the feeling was great. He asked his parents if he could learn martial arts, and his adoptive parents said yes; after all, Zach never asked for much, aside for his violin. So he learned martial arts, learned how to punch, kick, and fight, before finally being taught how to use a sword. His resolve to learn, now decent physique, and quick learning allowed him to reach "black belt" in ninth grade, where he finally stopped learning and went to school now confidently. He could overpower the other kids that once harassed him, and did it confidently. However, on the way home from school, a group of kids got their hands on a gun in eleventh grade. On Zach's way home from school, they ambushed him, and threatened to shoot him. When Zach did not comply to their wishes, they shot his right arm, which is what they assumed to he his dominant as he usually punched starting with that. However, Zach was ambidextrous, and so he punched the guy with the gun, took his gun, and in his fit of rage and pain, he accidentally shot him. Zach was put on trial and let off as it was in self-defense and accidental, however the school expelled him. Zach then decided to be a vigilante, working alone to uphold the law. He arrived at the dojo years after his expulsion, seeking to improve his skill in combat.
Personality:
Zach is strict with rules, and hates differential treatment. He doesn't talk much, but when he does talk, his voice can get really loud. He's decently smart, and bases decisions off strictly off fact. He doesn't like many people, and doesn't try to hide his dislike, although he usually hides his inner-jackass. When somebody pisses him off enough, he explodes, and it makes him look like he has anger issues, which he doesn't; rather, he's cool, calm, controlled and collected, up until all the pent-up anger inside him blows out, from anger level 0 to 100 in seconds. He's not a party person, and only jokes around with people he's extremely tight with; AKA, at the moment, nobody. EDIT: Now that I'm not in my glorious shitty mood I can add Zach's positives. He grins a lot, and makes good friends with the more outcasted people—the people who are left out. In a serious situation he may try to joke around, lighten the mood—in the beginning I stated my own serious side, this is my better side. He's angered mostly by unjust treatment, and fights for his friends that he may or may not eventually get. He's more of an awkward talker around girls, and finds it rather difficult to think of what to say to them without sounding like a) a jackass or b) a pervert or c) all of the above, unless they're the kind he dislikes, which he's less awkward and more spiteful. He can, of course, let the words come naturally, without thinking, but Zach's afraid of saying something stupid. Zach has a low self-esteem due to his years of being a target. Because of this he's always trying to improve himself, in all areas. While he generally strays from outside contact where it is unnecessary, and he tells himself that it's because he's anti-social, it's really because he feels barred out and new a majority of the time, creating a pit of loneliness inside of him that he only wished was filled. Zach will say anything, do anything, to get a laugh out of somebody, and hope that he is liked—but when he finds out that somebody disliked him, Zach sort of shuts down and gives up. He absolutely hates it when he finds out somebody dislikes him; it makes him wonder what he did wrong, and if he and that person would ever make up. He'll try to either overcompensate with niceness or stay away from the person courteously, usually the latter.
Additional: Played violin since first grade, and, um, well, nothing else.
