So I just got my Xbox One last winter, and was surprised to find Destiny and the first 2 expansions free. I then decided to look for The Taken King, since I already had it for my 360, and saw I'd have to fork out another 20-25 dollars for it. I heard from a few friends that it was supposed to be a free upgrade. So I decided not to play for a while unless it was on my 360. Then I saw on the Xbox One store a Collection upgrade for 30-40 dollars that only had Taken King and Rise of Iron, so I told myself I'd get it when I had the spare cash, and as soon as I did, it was taken off the market (so to speak). All I want to know is if there is a way to get JUST THOSE TWO expansions without having to pay for the game and the other two expansions as well, and if TTK was supposed to be free and how to get it, please and thanks.

Hello BurnerV1, The Taken King DLC will not upgrade and has never upgraded from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One for free, you received false information. You will need to repurchase it for the Xbox One. Destiny - The Collection Upgrade is still for sale, you must own Destiny: The Taken King DLC to buy it on the Xbox One store, your account must own the license for The Taken King, Gameshare will not work. When on your Xbox One system please go to the store page and select search, then search for Destiny The Collection then the enter key. The Collection Upgrade should show up. Also Destiny: The Collection, includes Destiny, Expansion I: The Dark Below, Expansion II: House of Wolves, The Taken King, Rise of Iron, and a Level 40 Character Boost.
