Outbreak Prime pointers

I found that there seem to be a few misunderstandings about the Outbreak Prime quest, particularly in regard of having to do it in a fireteam of three different classes (Warlock, Titan, Hunter). While you will need to have a fireteam consisting of all three classes for most steps of this quest, you can solo the part where you need to kill raid bosses. You also do not need to unlock and solve the numerical puzzles with the same two other players you started the quest or solved the previous puzzle with. You can even have players that are further in the quest than you are, or have solved it, help you. That is because once you have completed the quest, you can pick up the intermediate Siva cores at Shiro-4 for free. Now to help a guardian with one of the puzzles, just open the screen for the corresponding Siva core and check the proper nodes (capacitors) in your capacitor grid again. That's it. To solve the final numerical puzzle, there is an online calculator available. Find it here: https://2g.be/tools/siva/ To use the calculator, just move your circular cursor over each element of your capacitor grid. The capacitor (square) you're on will display a number. Enter that number in the corresponding field of the calculator. Make sure to do the same for the influx capacitor (top left of the grid). Once you're done, click on "find solutions", and the calculator will display a list of numbers. The numbers are coordinates in the capacitor grid. Each digit is giving you the capacitor in the corresponding grid column, counting from the top. So if you have a code like e.g. 42123, you would have to check the 4th square in the first column counting from the top, the 2nd square in the 2nd column, the 1st square in the 3rd colum, and so on. If you cannot unlock the Outbreak Prime, just go over the numbers you have entered into the calculator and make sure their are correct. You can check them using a calculator. The formula is influx capacitor value + value from 1st row + value from 2nd row + value from 3rd row - value from 4th row - value from 5th row = 730. If yours is correct and it still doesn't work, don't despair - use the calculator to check the other guys' solutions. I have done this step two times, and each time one of the other guys had made a mistake. Once you have done this, have fun with the Outbreak Prime. :) One hint at the end: You don't have to beat the entire raid for the three Siva control grids you get from beating raid bosses. You just need to beat three raid bosses, so you can do Vosiks three times, or Vosiks, the Siege Engine, and do a fresh run for one more Vosiks to get them. Ofc, beating the raid after a reset would give you two for the price of one (Aksis and Siva control grids). ;) As a conclusion let me say that I found this quest to the most cleverly designed and fun to do quest I have ever done in a computer game (ruling out games like Myst, but their riddles often are extremely hard to solve). Requiring players to find and activate hidden monitors is such a cool way to hide that quest. That numerical puzzle idea is gorgeous, and so is opening the walls of that huge Siva rhomboid hiding one of the monitors by requiring players to stand at certain cylinders in that room to unlock monitors showing more cylinder coordinates. Btw, since that rhomboid also contains an exotic chest, it may always be worth opening it. Great job Bungie, I love this one.
