Your tools? Ink, and however you can think of using it. Categories consist of The Classy (quality, above all else), The Inspired (creativity without bounds), and The Comedic (how hard can you make us laugh). [u]When:[/u] Beginning October 1st, Inktober will consist of three, weekly competitions, and a final round at the month's end. Submissions are due October 7th, 14th, and 21st, with weekly winners being announced the following days, October 8th, 15th, and 22nd. One winner will be chosen in each category, each week, with a first and second runner up announced alongside each category's winner. Each winners' submission will then proceed on to the final at the month's end, where one of the three submissions, in each category, will be chosen as the month's best, and receive the Grand Prize. A lottery will also be held for all of the runner-ups, where one winner will receive a smaller, consolation prize. [u]Judging:[/u] All entries must be submitted by 10:00 PDT / 13:00 EDT in that week's corresponding thread. Final submission dates include October 7th, 14th, and 21st. The appropriate thread for the current submission period can be found at the top of this post. Once submissions have been gathered, a panel of seven (7) judges will vote for their favorite submissions in each category, with the recipient of the majority votes being crowned the winner. Categories will be judged on the following: | The Classy - [i]Clean lines and style. These submissions should embody art at its cleanest and most polished. Not for the faint of heart.[/i] | The Inspired - [i]Stick figures on a napkin? Why not? Beginning October 15th, participants will have until October 29th to carve the best pumpkin they can. Categories include Classic Halloween and Destiny/Bungie themed. [u]When:[/u] The window for submissions begins on October 15th and will remain open until 23:59 PDT on October 29th / 02:59 EDT on October 30th. Contestants may submit at any point during this window, and may revise entries as they see fit. [u]Judging:[/u] On October 30th, a panel of seven (7) judges will select their favorite pumpkins in each category. Individual criteria will be left to the judge's personal discretion. [b]WHAT:[/b] A 3v3 single elimination tournament for any and all Guardians on the XBOne or PS4. [b]WHEN:[/b] Matches will take place on October 29th. Start times are dependent on the number of participating teams, but expect the event to take place between 12:00 PDT / 15:00 EDT and 18:00 PDT / 21:00 EDT. [b]REGISTRATION:[/b] To participate, assemble a fire-team of three (3) Guardians, and have one (1) post in this thread with the gamer-tags / PSN IDs of all team members. This person will be designated as the Team Captain. [b]RULES & PRIZES:[/b] [spoiler]**Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the rules and procedures of this tournament. Failure to do so may result in the disqualification of your team! All matches will take place on October 29th and games will consist of teams of three (3) competing on various maps in assorted game-types. All teams must consist of the three individuals registered in this thread. In the event of a no-show, a team may opt to play short, or forfeit the match. If a player is disconnected they may rejoin the match at any time, but there will be no re-matches due to connection issues. Maps and game-types for each round will be announced on October 28th. For each match, a time will be designated either HOME or AWAY. It is the responsibility of the HOME team to set the match up to the -pre-determined specifications and invite the AWAY team. All matches must start within 15 minutes of their designated start time else both teams will be eliminated from the tournament. In the event of network issues preventing teams from connecting, a notification must be sent to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/254/213842]Rollin[/url] no later than 10 minutes past the intended start time. Failure to satisfy any of these responsibilities will result in the elimination the offending team, or, depending on the situation, both teams. Failure to do so will result in removal from the tournament. Post game stats may be found by visiting My Legend > Stats > Crucible > and by switching "All Crucible Modes" to "Private Matches."
