"Dangling carrot" Can we all say, "pay to play"...?

"Pay to play"? I would love to hear your explanation for using that phrase in this game.

""Pay to play"? I would love to hear your explanation for using that phrase in this game." If you are being sincere..., Skeleton Keys, Siva Offerings, Splicer Keys, etc. are all things that Bungie could start charging for in-game at 'Eververse' (see URLs below): www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-09-27-the-push-and-pull-of-destinys-microtransactions gamerant.com/destiny-rise-of-iron-rep-boosters-emotes-915/ www.inverse.com/article/21471-destiny-rise-of-iron-player-reaction-dlc-bungie

How do emotes or silver alter gameplay? Does it boost your damage or armor? Does it increase the rate of which you progress? Does it grant you access to areas where you NEED the transactions to get to? None of the above? Then it's nowhere near pay to play.

After read the above articles and more, and after everything Bungie had inserted into the game, and Bungie's desire and need for recurring revenues, implementation of 'pay to play' to progress in the game has only become a matter of time for their business model.
