One reason why the forums are "dead".
All these new users cannot comprehend just how the forums use to be.
From its old theme background to how the old UI system.

Thanks to the new implemented policy and system, we can no longer see old great post.
Just shit post after shit post full of click bait and utter nonsense.

That's actually somewhat of a problem. A post might get 300 comments and 50 upvotes or something. Then it just comes to a complete, unprecedented halt.

I may be relatively new here, but I've been a long time forum user in general and I can agree with this. A lot of older forums that I used to frequent are not what they used to be and I'm guessing the same is for B.net. To me, forums are a bit like the music charts. In the old days good posts would stay at the top, the new ones would slowly rise and the crap wouldn't get the light of day. Now posts just come and go and the good gets lost in all the shitposts because everyone wants their say, their 30 seconds of fame. Plus this is always made worse during the US election season, where any good post will really struggle in the absolute deluge of political chest beating nonsense and he said she said bullshit.

1 ReplyI kinda feel it's the opposite, actually. I think the trending page is one of the worst additions to the site in years. Before it, many more threads were created in a day because the flow of traffic only allowed the very popular threads to stick around on the first couple of pages for more than an hour or two. Now the trending page keeps threads in sight for literally weeks sometimes. Some of these threads getting multiple hundreds of replies. If a thread got that many replies back in the day.. it was very, very rare.
