Stupid bungie servers booted me and my team out on final boss fight so we have to do it all again..... FML

For step 8 you just need to kill 3 bosses not complete the raid

We need to defeat aksis first to actually receive the quest though so we can can activate the fifth monitor

So you have to start all over again or just from final boss?

If everyone gets booted back to orbit, you have to start from fresh as the monitors reset, it's not fair to be honest

What if you just quit for the night? My team got to Aksis the other night but it was getting late and people have to work and stuff so we went to orbit and did our usual end of session stuff in the Tower before logging off. We'll get the rest done this weekend but does this mean we lost our monitor progress? The entire raid has to be completed in one sitting otherwise you don't get the quest??? If so, that's ridiculous.

Yes, you will lose your monitor progress and have to do it all over again, it is ridiculous

Yeah, we found that out last week when we went back in to finish Aksis and didn't get the final monitor room. Luckily we banged this out the other night and got the quest.
