I have made a purchase recently for 1000 + 100 silver and the transaction failed with a message like: "Transaction failed. This service is under maintenance, please try again later".
I assumed this failed without taking my money so instead I applied £15 to my PSN wallet and attempted the transaction again which worked this time (taking from my wallet funds). I immediately saw the silver applied to my Eververse account.
Paypal informed me that there were two payments confirmed as paid to PSN (for Destiny) for £7.99 and £15. It seem the 'failed' transaction took the money and didn't apply Silver to my account.
I called PS support and they advised that none of the transactions in the past (see below - except the very latest one) is showing as confirmed to destiny and are waiting to get paid to my Destiny account. They find this very strange and have asked me to contact Bungie to verify if the following transactions were received from the PSN payments:
27/10/2015 – 2300
13/04/2016 – 1100
25/09/2016 – 1100
25/09/2016 – 1100 <-- This was applied to the account
I cannot recall whether I ever received the older transactions now as I barely kept a track of my silver and I play infrequently.
Would appreciate if someone from Bungie support can verify these transactions for me so I can go back to Playstation and get my refund for the failed transaction.
