As the title states, I'm tired of hunters being able to disappear off my radar with absolutely zero drawbacks. It's over 9000 times more frustrating to play against than firebolts ever were. I think when a hunter activates invis it should drain a melee charge unless they are in their super. This would at least make it less obnoxious to play against their space ninja nonsense.

Got any nice catches?

Edited by Ping: 9/29/2016 4:15:05 PMAnd shoulder charge should remove grenades and Warlock Melee range should remove weapons 🤔
-
Really? They aren't that hard to see. Stop staring at your radar and hard scooping. Then you might be able to see the half-distorted space running at you. Might just be me, but invis is easy to pick out. It's the elephant in the room to me. Basically, it's something that is out of place and it catches my attention easily.

Throw me back into the ocean!...
-
Walking should take super energy. Lol

-
Uhhh, It's easy to spot an invis hunter in PvP. Besides, you are complaining because you don't know how the invisibility activates.
-
How's the fishing
-
No it shouldn't.
-
You clearly don't play as a hunter (om nom nom) invisibility isn't that great (nom) all it really does is make you see-through instead of invisible (nom) and you only disappear off the radar if you are already out of range, which makes it situational and pretty much impossible to take advantage of unless you're using shadowjack as a bladedancer (nom nom nom nom nom nom)

Edited by aidanderson: 9/29/2016 1:57:08 PMJust stop. Invisibility is not even a powerful mechanic. Maybe you should look at your damn screen to notice them pass by via the shimmer. Hunters only have one viable competitive subclass as is don't remove the other one because you find invisibility op with your "OMG THIS KILLED ME A FEW TIMES IN CRUCIBLE ITS OP BUNGO PLS NERF"

Edited by Chris P Snipes: 9/29/2016 1:26:33 PMJuggernaut and shoulder charge should, too ;)
-
Weeeeellllll, my hunter is tired of having afireball axe landing on her from clear across the huge map where it shouldn't be able her but do you see me bitchin?
-
As a defender Titan who hates hunters ( mostly) no
-
There is a drawback, most of the time they just run at you because they think you can't see them xD

Edited by SirBigWater: 9/29/2016 6:57:12 AMIt uses a charge for Nightstalker, as you must activate an upgrade node to have the secondary grenade turn you and allies invisible. As for Bladedancer, you can turn invisible one of three ways. You must stay crouched without moving for some seconds (which is not convenient in the middle of battle, and you have to have the upgrade node activated), you can activate an upgrade node to have your blink strike turn you invisible which does end up using a melee charge. Or you can activate a node to have it so when you pop your super, you turn Invisible, and whenever you pull the trigger you go invisible (it uses super energy for that). So only one method out of four does not use some sort of charge, be it melee or super energy. However, the crouch invisibility is not an instant activation like the other three methods. And does require the user to stay still while crouched without getting shot or shooting at anything for a few seconds. You should also listen for the audio cue, or keep your eyes open as it is pretty easy to notice if you know what you are looking for. May be b8, but I like to explain it anyway.

Bad b8... 1/10
-
Nah, it should take a third of their super instead.
nice tags boi
-
But titans can press "melee" while running and get a OHK but not use a charge? Please, your argument is out of the question
-
Wombo Combos should reset the super bar.
-
Are you gonna haul in your catches for the day or just throw them back?

Hope you have a big net...
