Do you have to get the monitors throughout the raid without wiping? I was told if you wipe they turn off.

It will let you reactivate them but the laser grid stays off.

So after you activate for the first time, it will shut off the laser, but will turn back on? And it will keep the laser off even though it turns back on? Sorry if I'm not understanding

I think it's a bug. It will save the progress, the laser deactivated. But the monitor will be available for activating again, even though the laser is already off.

Yup. The first time it will shut off the lasers. So even after dying the laser grid will stay off.
