Great. By the time I'm ready to raid. Most people will have it already and won't want to do this step anymore..
Really pissed they stuck an exotic quest behind a raid.
Edit1: well your responces have given me more hope that people wil stop and help and that 357 is good to start with
Edit well looks like you will Need one of each class in your fireteam with the quest active.. so the longer you wait to do this the harder it will be to find people to finish the actual quest.

Um... Touch of Malice? Necrochasm? Vex? Why are you at all surprised by this? If the Chest drops an Exotic Engram Weekly then people will definitely do it again.

Does it drop an exotic engram or just the piece you Need for the quest? (I have not done it so just curious) And I'm not surprised there is a raid exotic in fact I assumed there would be one.

I know I Could go into the raid but most LFG groups want people 370+ so that leaves me out. I'm sure I'll get into a group at some point just hope they will be willing to help me through the steps to get this, Edit: I did the Omni farm last week for about 4 hours (2 - 2 hour sessions) and I was only getting gear the same level that I currently had or 1 below. That is how everything is dropping for me. I had 30 legendary engrams saved up before roi dropped and used those the other day thinking it will boost me up and the same thing happened they dropped at my current level gear or 1 below. Out of those 30 legendary engrams I think I got 2 that helped me. Last night I went In The archon forge got 4 Legendary cloaks all 359 which is what I currently have. RNG hates the $hit out of me. I have 30 exotic engrams saved up but I am not going to use them until I get above 365 so that I don't waste them. I don't mind grinding it out I'll get here eventually I just hope people will be willing to help me grab the exotic pulse rifle when I finally am able to raid it up and be high enough to finish the raid. I'll probably try getting into the raid this weekend even if I don't get much higher light just to try and get some gear. Some day my luck will change................. maybe Edit 2: just to clarify when I turned in those legendary engrams I did 1 at a time so be sure I was the highest light possible.

I am on Xbox. I usually play every night around 9:30pm eastern and play until around 11:30pm ( during the week ) on the weekend I'm on at different times. But usually will be on at night around 9:30pm and play until whenever in the weekends.

You're high enough to do the raid as it, you may not be able to kill the boss but you can certainly get up to him. Add me up.

tips to get to 365 fast and even higher: -grind heroics -do your weekly iron temple bounties -do challenge of elders -public events -perfected siva offerings -heroic strike chests -nightfall -crucible drops DO ANYTHING THAT CONSUMES A THREE OF COINS...and make sure you equip your highest level gear each time you turn in an engram. If you are not 365 then you need to check each engram you turn in and equip it before turning in another. When you have all gear 365 then your focus is higher legendaries from heroic chests/nightfall/crucible/siva offerings and exotics from any source. When you have all gear 365 just turn in all engrams without worrying about their level unless you get an exotic. If you have a few exotic engrams turn one in at a time, most likely it'll have a higher rating than your current equipped piece. Equip it then turn in the next. Not a hard concept at all, for some people I just see people say spam omnigul, like wtf that's not necessary at all.

Phase 2 of The last boss and all of his adds are 380, so you kinda want to be at 365 anyway, or have people in your fireteam making up the light difference. Im not going to worry about the quest until i beat it on all 3 characters, i have yet to beat phase 2 of aksis :-/ can't find the right team.

Actually, my group has been taking friends into it for the first time as low as 352. As long as they can pick up on the mechanics, it won't be too bad. Until the final boss, which we still have not beat. We have only tried him once, but we will get it soon. All of the other parts are still pretty easy, even if you are below the recommended light level. If you need some help, hit me with a message. We can at least get you to the final boss and get you some good drops to bring up that level!

I like to pull my own weight. But I think I might give it go this weekend regardless. another thing I see that will be a problem is you have to have 1 of each type of character in order to finish that exotic quest. for solo players it is going to be near impossible to finish since a lot of people are going to have it already so they won't be needing to do it again.

Ye, 357 is fine atleast up until the final boss, where i would say 365 is best. Below that, shanks, captains, siva bombs etc will wreck you, hard! We had a 354 and a 356 with us friday night, and we were good all the way up to the final boss phase 2. So have at it bro
