We have debates? I thought we just did this thing where the candidates trade opposing sound bites for consumption by the masses via mass media. Debates generally require that an issue be logically discussed by both sides until one side eventually concedes defeat by being unable to logically and reasonably refute their opponent. I think maybe that happened once upon a time in this country, although I'm not prepared to wager on it.
