Im on 4 hours of sleep since 8 am yesterday (11:22 pm PDT now), so please forgive my lack explanation and what not. Maybe even forgive me for what I'm about to say.
Rasputin.
In the Story Saladin mentions how Rasputin hasn't been what he once was for a long time. Then while questing today, I nabbed mysteries ghost fragment six... where Rasputin authorizes SIVA usage in response to a break in at Site-6 (Just before the SIVA replication cell). When Rasputin controls the SIVA, which the Fallen pkayed with for a bit till we came in and wrecked them all yet again.
There is no big looming baddy this time. Think about that... Atheon, Crota, Oryx.. and nothing... Friday marks the raid of warmind this tired old Guardian believes. If you can Google the card I speak of, I think you will agree... especially with the semi self aware "I'm crazy, stop" sort of bit at the end.

It can't specifically because he couldn't control the non siva giant wall death zamboni

The details on the raid are shown in a new quest that you get once you start the raid and leave, then visit Shiro, exactly the same as eris for the hunger pangs. This new quest is called metal and flesh. Minor spoilers ahead for the quest and raid:
The first part of it is killing the archpriest outside of the giant metal servitor. We can see him in the first trailer labeled as the machinist. The second is "repairing the siege engine." I assume this is the death zamboni. So it sounds like right after the archpriest there is a jumping puzzle, then zamboni, then we destroy the zamboni and jump down. I assume there's another jumping puzzle after we jump back in the wall, then we repair the zamboni. Also from the raid armor we know well have to move shock cores like in the iron tomb mission or like the beginning of kings fall. This is probably for fixing the siege engine. Lastly we need to kill Aksis, this extremely bioengineered fallen archon prime. He is the spider legged fallen we see at the end of the opening cutscene.
Hope this info is helpful!

It's actually Aksis archon prime, sorry for the spoilers
-
Yeah, not Rasputin.
-
But if we kill Rasputin. What ramifications might that produce? Not deep into lore so just asking.
-
Wrath of the Machine Wrath of the Warmind Anger of the Warmind Anger of Rasputin "And he's threatening orbital death from above" Mythbusters confirm: Plausible
-
I just hope that one of the bosses is named "The Imperfect" or something.
-
okay so this seems pretty plausible right. now I know it sounds weird and dumb, but would anyone else LOVE it if when you're fighting a looking Rasputin throwing enemies and weapons and you that you can't understand, classic ballet is playing in the background? I've just always been a fan of that quirk of Rasputin "hes one of the few ballet fans left"
-
I don't like the ending of the card it's kinda creepy.
-
What about a Perfected Radegast?
-
Imagine if the final boss fight was the dead iron lords. Like SIVA possessed their dead bodies. I think that would be cool. Imagine just fighting the iron lords one at a time or multiple at once.
-
Wrath of the MACHINE... maybe not fallen. Saladin describes frames and constructs that rasputin controlled. Could be!
-
Brought to mind alot of questions. Did we kill Crota in his throne world? Was obviously another dimesion athough we didnt pass through as ascendant. Is Oryx really dead. Seems his throne world should have resembled Crotas and not have Saturn in the background. Have we analyzed the names of the raid missions yet. Crotas End, Kings Fall both indicate the death of those bosses. Wrath of the Machine sounds like a Siva infused Rasputin that maybevwe only disable but not kill. There will be at least 3 bosses if not 4 before the last boss. Hopefully it ends like Halo with a running/driving sequence to escape. The concept is in game at least twice. Pretty sure the big robot on top of the wall is one such event.
-
If you look on planet destiny you can see the 2 raid bosses the main one is called the archon prime and the first boss is the arch priest not to be confused with the strike boss splicer priest
-
What a dumb question, of course obviously the dead iron lord. The fallan takes the SIVA tech and resurrect just like the last mission in ROI
-
Except ... The fallen have probably taken the SIVA out into the darkness ... They could have a super SIVA infused ketch for all we know
-
Yeah boss I feel ya ... Since zavala wanted to make more contact during SABER it's been scratching at this ... Also Rasputin is much more than a warmind The vanguard don't know this Saladin does Just one link to explain ... How did SIVA get to Rasputin ? And where did it happen?
-
Well they said they labs were experimenting with Hive and Fallen .. Then we saw at end of storyline humans hanging like experiments .. You will be fighting SIVA infected / perfected Ex Iron Lords
-
I'm thinking that we'll see more of the SIVA Lords in the raid. Maybe as a mini boss or something
-
Edited by DJ_CyberGhost: 9/22/2016 9:21:36 AMIt's probably this guy http://www.ishtar-collective.net/cards/aksis-archon-prime you see the legs of this guy in the rise of iron video that you can view in orbit. This guy is, http://www.ishtar-collective.net/cards/vosik-the-archpriest ,Aksis's right hand man and is seen in trailer and is believed to be in the raid adding more credit to Aksis being the raid boss

-
Maybe that other one iron lord because there where 9 but they only talk about 8 maybe she is batshit crazy or some shit . Prob some fallen kell tho
-
SPIDER ARCHON,SPIDER ARCHON
-
I could see that.
-
It very much could be. All the evidence confirms that Rasputin has known of SIVA for years. He might've even purposely given the Fallen access to it. Rasputin might've done some calculations and decided that we, Guardians, are a threat to him and seeks to eliminate us. He might even be seeking to be fused with SIVA himself.
