This was one of our wishes since the Taken King, even longer, and Bungie, you couldn't give our characters any dialogue. Now I don't want a mute protagonist, but for the fans, please get those actors back and bring Guardians more dialogue for Destiny 2.

My guardian keeps getting shotguns shoved down its throat. cough CRUCIBLE cough
-
I think that the ghost put rezed us eithout vocal cords but he never reliesed it because HE DOESNT SHUT UP
-
-
A moment of silence for my guardians who have been mute since late 2014.
i walked in on the queen doing weird stuff with her brother, haven't said a word since.
-
I prefer them to be quiet.
-
Ok thank god I'm not alone on how annoying it is that our guardians havent said a damn word since the black heart mission of vanilla destiny
-
-
My guardian can't speak cuz RNG keeps her I'm a constant state of shock.
-
No vanguard voice lines either, I think they just threw shiro in because Nathan Fillion didn't want to do it
-
They didint even reuse any dialog, bungies slacking
-
You would think with all they money that they have they could play a voice actor.
-
I think the gaurdian tries to say something but ghost is so rude he buts in and does all the talking
-
You are the voice of ur guardian

Edited by Rylor Threev: 9/22/2016 1:51:54 PMI was like: He's not gonna say anything *ghost start talking* Mute guardian again... It was kinda depressive on the kvostov quest when the guardian didn't said nothing at the end
-
The worst part is that taken King cutscene when our character is in Eris' ship with ghost, and when cayde speaks directly to us, we just awkwardly nod and shrug our shoulders. The lack of dialogue hurts the story:
-
This really bothered me in the story. Every time Saladin would speak to us, our guardians would just look at Ghost, like he was speaking for both of them. Kinda like Penn and Teller
-
They didn't bring back voice acting because the Guardian is supposed to be you, yourself, in the game world. Remember when they added voice acting for Fallout 4? People hated that. Especially since it was one generic voice for each gender. That took away the image that you are the one who is saying something to the NPC, not someone else. Same thing with Destiny. How your character reacts to the world is how Bungie expects the player to react, not someone else. That is why some silent protagonists, like Link from The Legend of Zelda, are loved.

Mr guardian is a mute and I find this offensive
-
Edited by Brimstone: 9/22/2016 1:35:45 PMI was sitting there during the cutscene. 'TALK! TALK DAMN YOU!' I was disappointed 😞
-
Its like brock lesnar and paul heyman lol
-
Ghost is our guardians voice
-
I think it was worse seeing my characters face again. Terrifying.
-
Who needs dialogue when you get to see your Guardian pose for nobody at the end.
-
-
I agree, I find the mute Guardians a little disconcerting. Just as I didn't like our walkie talkie Ghost of previous DLC's. Some might not like Nolandroid, but never forget that he saved us from more of the same. Just wish they could have dubbed in some extra Ghost chattiness for the Dark Below and House of Wolves missions.

I always found it funny how our ghost always talks for us, yet any other guardian or npc that owns a ghost talks all the time yet their ghosts are silent.
