Name: Ember
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Backstory: Born with the rare CPH4 gene, she was granted the ability to manipulate fire. Of course, this was no surprise. Both of her parents possessed this gene. Despite this, she tried to live as normal a life as possible.
She was an outcast, not sure how to keep her abilities concealed for long, and people around her didn't know how to react once she could no longer hold back. That was, until she met a certain friend...who just also happened to possess this gene. Time passed, and she began to develop feelings for him.
One day, the boy told her that he had found a safe haven for people like them...a place that would accept them for what they were. Overjoyed, she went with him to the place.
To both of their surprise, the organization had hidden agendas.
She was subjected to cruel, torturous experiments, pitting those like her against her comrades, psychologically breaking her...forcing her to forget who she was, what was real...making her into a weapon.
Years passed, memories faded, she had no idea what or who she was anymore. But she knew one thing; she had to get out. After months of planning and lots of luck, she, along with several others escaped.
Now out and on the run, she sought refuge from her pursuers, and rediscover who she was...but for the time being, she had to make a name for herself.
"What about Ember?"
