When you waste engrams the day before dlc so you can get a gun that is under what you would have gotten if you waited a day

When I used 1 engram I had gotten from the nightfall because I could care less about hoarding engrams.

How is getting a high light level rushing content? If I get a higher light level than you can can enjoy the story without dying as often. Plus I'll be ready to go through the strikes and not have to waste my time trying to grind for gear in old patrols
