Things I would Like to see:
A path to each archetype of each weapon class through both PVP and PVE. For instance, it should be possible to acquire a maximum fire rate pulse rifle, not just from the Omnigul strike, but also from the PVP portion of the game.
Periodic updates (Live Team) that refresh the game. For instance: getting a new (or revamped) strike, a few new weapons (new or old) a new crucible map, and maybe a story mission or two related to the strike, and a vendor refresh (or even just roll refresh on current weapons). (Think April Update minus the Prison of Elders) and make the new map the trials map for that week, and the new strike the nightfall for that week to let people experience them more.
Legacy Faction Weapons: after the success of the year 1 vanguard and crucible weapons brought back with the April Update, it only makes sense to bring back some faction goodies too. Here are the specific weapons I would bring back for each faction:
New Monarchy: Red Hand IX, Vanquisher VIII, Judgement VI, Crusader I, and Prestige IV
Dead Orbit: Crypt Dweller SR1, Unwilling Soul-09, Venation III, Final Rest II, Deviant Gravity-A
FWC: The Conduit, The Chosen, The Fear, The Culling, The Calming
I would also add a few new Vanguard and Crucible Weapons to the stock
Vanguard: Plug ONE.1, Coiled Hiss 1919, Up For Anything
Crucible: 77 Wizard, For the People, 123 Syzygy (If not the Coiled Hiss),
These would add some of the other routes to weapon archetypes, as well as introduce some more variety into the game. I would add Legacy Weapons as another option to choose from when opening a faction package as well
Add the House of Wolves crucible legendaries back into the crucible loot pool (Low Grade Humility, Matador 64, 20/20 AMR7, etc.)
Some Blue Rarity Weapons have some pretty spectacular paint jobs, and I think they would make great legendaries since none of them can be obtained anymore through current content.
Vector ESC, Scipio-E, Xerxes-E, Evergreen II.I, and Stalker BNGL all look amazing, and would be great additions to the growing pool of legendaries in Destiny for Year 3.
These are just a few ideas to keep the game fresh in Year 3 as it doesn’t appear that Destiny will be getting any new DLC Content releases after the Rise of Iron. As much crap as the community gives you, we all love the game, and want to see it succeed both in the minds of the players and the developers.
