So the shoulder charge nerf hit Striker Titans pretty hard. It was both good and bad, good: it was overused and way to easy to activate with no punishment (by punishment I mean you can use it whenever you wanted with nothing taken) and bad: because the nerf was executed incorrectly, they nerfed what didn't need to be nerfed. I feel like the most unnecessary part of the nerf was that tracking was nerfed when they just recently buffed it because of how bad it was. Especially since Warlock and hunter melee abilities have super high aim assist and tracking (yes I know shoulder charge is not a melee ability but its still considered a melee) original Titan melees already have zero range and almost zero tracking. So maybe instead of doing the nerf they did, they could have changed the way shoulder charge worked entirely, just like they changed how the voidwalker, sunsinger and bladedancer subclasses work. maybe keep it the way it was before but with a twist. here's my idea:
- return shoulder charge to it's pre-nerf state
-shoulder charge now requires your melee ability in order to kill
- melee abilities now work in unison with shoulder charge encouraging players to use the melee ability "Overload" (also encouraging the use of the exotic helm "An Insurmountable Skullfort, the upcoming "Immolation Fists" and "Memory of Fellwinter" artifct).
-when melee ability is not active, using shoulder charge gives players a boost forward in the direction your facing that does no damage, and has no tracking, it becomes a traversal ability until you regen your melee.
Thoughts? Opinions? Your own ideas? Do you agree? :)
