Dojo Bio Page

This is the dojo official bio page! Feel free to copy your stuff from the old group and post it here if you need to. If you are new, make your bio here! What is a bio?: You Bio describes who your character is and what they can do. Upon joining, please make a bio for your character. Before making your character, know that olden day characters(such as medieval characters) will likely be trumped by superior technology as well as future tech. The dojo is based in the present day. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE EACH CHARACTER TESTED. ONLY ONE.
If you are bugged by the dojo posts. You have a mute button. Use it. It's much faster than you making a post showing a lack of intelligence to use a mute button!
The holy blade was found in a forest by Joshua, hidden by shrubbery and undergrowth, and Arthur was nowhere to be seen. Many say that he was killed, however Josh believes otherwise, and is now safekeeping the sword. •A golden longsword, three feet in length •Unbreakable •Can blast things with holy energy The Grail's Demise: A completely golden longbow, four feet from tip to tip, which, instead of using arrows as its ammunition, uses four feet long, completely golden spikes. It cannot be broken. •Massive shield •Cannot attack while using shield •Shield can only be used for one turn, three turn cool-down. •Unbreakable •Appears strapped to Josh's right arm when it is needed.
Abilities: Aside from having excellent swordsmanship and pinpoint bow accuracy, Josh has the ability to grant one wish from any person who knows of the ability, each person getting one wish. Whereas the nonhuman Holy Grail would grant any wish that is wished upon it, Joshua can control which wishes go through, and which wishes don't. Weaknesses: Joshua is easily affected by emotions, and the lives of others matter more to him than anything else. Backstory:
In truth, Joshua Pendragon only wished he lived a normal life, as a guy with a job, not what he is now. Joshua doesn't have any biological parents, rather he was born when a sorcerer—the same sorcerer who revived Arthur—found the Holy Grail, a task the Knights of the Round Table have been attempting to do for their whole lives. This sorcerer liked to meddle. And so meddle he did, for he decided to put his magical prowess to the test on the Holy Grail. After months of experimenting and research, the sorcerer finally created a spell that could convert objects into humans. He tested it on a sword; it became a living blade, a human who's arms could transfigure into literal swords. The sorcerer was gleeful. He immediately put it to the ultimate test on the Holy Grail, and it worked; however unlike with the blade, which had transformed into a fully grown man, the Holy Grail had turned into a newborn baby. The sorcerer, disappointed, left the Holy Grail to die alone, in the forest, without even naming it. At the same time, on the other side of the world, the exact inverse coordinates, three things were formed from nowhere; a bow, a rapier, and a shield. The newborn baby was found, weeks later, by the newly revived Arthur. He looked at the baby with pity, and had no idea for his true identity as the Holy Grail. Arthur took him in, gave him food and drink, and taught him everything he knew. He named him Joshua, and gave him his own last name; Pendragon. Josh grew like a normal human would, he went through each phase just as a human would. Arthur trained him in combat, taught him how to fight with a sword, and how to hunt with a bow. He was none the wiser to the Grail his entire life–until Josh's 18th birthday. On the day 18 years after Josh's creation as the human Holy Grail, the rapier, longbow, and shield magically appeared at Arthur's place of residence, where Josh was also living. Arthur immediately recognized these weapons. Pendragon, the rapier that was passed down in his family. The Golden Lion, the shield owned by one of his Knights of the Round Table. And the Grail's Demise, a longbow that had long been shrouded in mystery, and said to have been owned by an unknown archer that was the first to find the Holy Grail, only for reasons unknown the archer had attempted to destroy it. Arthur hid these weaponry outside their small cabin, however the next day they appear inside the cabin again, this time outside Josh's door. Arthur once again hid them, however the next day, the appeared right beside Josh, who had already awoken and saw the weaponry. It was no use hiding them from the Grail now, and Arthur had a realization. From that day, Arthur knew. He didn't tell Josh, for if Josh knew then bad things would happen. However Arthur was not stupid enough to not inform Josh of Arthurian literature, and began retelling his story to Josh. About Camelot, about the Knights of the Round Table, and about the thing they sought; the Holy Grail. Josh listened with interest, however did not know that he was in any way related to Camelot; he didn't even know that the person who raised him was King Arthur. Days after, however, Arthur disappeared, and arrived at the dojo, reclaiming his lost sword, Excalibur. Josh was left to fend for himself. And he did so, and two years later he finally arrived at a massive metropolitan area, and he explored. He had no money, and so he lived homeless, and on the streets he met his to-be best and only friend, Jackson Fureel. Jackson was 16 years older than Josh, at 36, however they got along well. Jackson had a job and a wife, named Elaine. He brought Josh food, and in turn Josh taught Jackson how to fight. However, one fateful day, two years after Josh and Jackson had met, Jackson had an extremely bad day. He was fired from his job, and so, he said a single sentence to Josh that day. "Man, I wish everybody could just... disappear." This triggered something inside Josh, and the Holy Grail activated. It was a wish made by his best friend, and of course the Grail would grant it. Josh had no idea what happened next, but a second later, hundreds of explosions took place, killing every last person in the massive urban area, save Josh, Jackson, and Elaine. Jackson was horrified, and he and Elaine moved away immediately, as far as they could, all the way to the Ku Rudo Mountains. It took Josh a while, but he finally realized what had happened. Jackson had wished for everybody to disappear, and everybody did, in fact, disappear. Connecting that to the strange weapons that seemed to follow him around, he had the same realization Arthur had three years ago. Joshua was the Holy Grail. He was horrified. It was him that killed all those people, if indirectly. He swore to himself that he would never tell a soul, in fact, never go near another human that could make another wish at any moment. He ran away, and did not go come into contact with another person for years. Six years later, while he was roaming the woods, he found Excalibur, simply lying there. He still did not know that Arthur was the one who raised him, but he did, in fact, know that Excalibur was Arthur's blade. And so he took it, and it opened up to him just as it opened up to Arthur was he was only twelve years old. Josh continued to roam, until one day he stumbled upon the dojo.
Additional: Is the Holy Grail. So yeah.
