Possibly from being slightly broken. Sometimes his mood swings change him drastically, so don't be too surprised if he goes bipolar. But his most seen is his original one, back when he wasn't broken; he's a mostly calm individual, and a inquisitive/curious one. Abilities: [spoiler]Cyphis -Glitch: Become Invulnerable to any attack by phasing in and out of reality for a couple of seconds. Two post cooldown. -Shockwave: Uses this to push back the enemy. Pushback strength depends on opponent's strength and weight. Replenish times vary. -Rush: Dash at a speed significantly faster than the maximum potential of human sprinting speeds. Regenerates every 2 posts. -Second Skin: Has a sort of barrier around him that can protect him from any attacks. The barrier can be broken if it takes a certain amount of hits, and it disappears permanently once he finds a better means of protection. Psionics -Phantom fire: Shoot a short burst of energy, damaging the target. *Absorb: Says it in the name. He has an option of taking the host's blood and using it to heal the himself or others. Like some, he wasn't born a mercenary, fighter, or whatever you call them. Instead, he was pushed into the lifestyle he has now. You could say he was a... Conscript, of sorts. Before all that, he was a scientist, and a bit of a child prodigy too. Right when he was eighteen, and right when everything went crashing down in his dimension, literally. November 19th, 2015. Him and his colleagues found a anomalous artefact while going on one of their trips. They've created a machine that was devoted to finding out what this transparent fragment was about. Turns out that it was a part of a object from another dimension, and they immediately went to the fact that they could create an portal to another world. Then again, when you try to mess with reality, everything goes wrong. One of his friends, Vinnie, seemed to have this look on his face when he found himself staring at the machine.
