So, as the OWL virus continues to infect more and more guardians there are many debates going on as to whether or not this "disease" is good or bad. Here's my theory, completely based on opinion and speculation. As we all know, OWL is not the only affliction that is infecting the Destiny universe. The ancient plague SIVA has been released and is being harnessed by the fallen. From my understanding of SIVA, it is a self replicating tech, possibly sentient, and most likely made up of nanites(Microscopic robots). There may be similarities with SIVA and OWL. Specifically the nanite part. I believe that the OWL infection has been started by Rastputen as a mechanism to fight the incoming plague. I believe it is something to aid us in the upcoming fight. Of course, there is the chance that who, or whatever is behind the outbreak of OWL would like for us to believe it is supposed to help us. If this is the case we could all be in some serious trouble, as the percentage of guardians infected now seems to be greater than those who are not. Any thoughts or findings out there Guardians?
