Nope, sources from former bungie employees point out that the game was VERY different then what it currently is today, some say there was a full story and almost the entirety of the alpha testers claim this area was here and completed and then scraped last seconed along with alot of other things, like the story, much of what we are seeing is content that was cut and is now being recycled back into the game
